Birdlife Photography Annual Award 2023 - Doug Castle

Doug Castle has been named our BirdLife Photography Member of the Year for 2023.  Doug's major contributions were:

  • Member of the BirdLife Photography committee until August 2023.
  • Member of the BirdLife Photography conference sub-committee, where he has played a major role in conference site selection, attending regular committee meetings, and assisting in making decisions on birding sites, presenter selection and the conference program.
  • Current coordinator of our competitions, which have gone from strength to strength under his guidance.
  • Regular contributor to our BirdLife Photography image gallery, having uploaded many high-quality images.
