Membership of BirdLife Photography is open to anyone interested in photographing Australian birds.  We only provide individual memberships (ie. no family memberships), as this allows us to identify the actual person who contributes to our website, by submitting images to our galleries, participating in competitions, or joining the discusssions in our Forum.  Our membership fee is currently $15 per annum.  Membership allows you to submit photos to our online gallery, participate in our photo competitions, submit posts to our online Forum, and access member-only content on this website; you may also join and contribute to our private Facebook group.

So - why not join BirdLife Photography, enjoy the benefits of membership, help spread the word of the pleasures of birdwatching and photography, and make your contribution to the preservation of the uniqueness of Australian birdlife for generations to come.  BirdLife Australia manages our memberships; you can join on-line at this page on their website, or by phoning BirdLife Australia Supporter Care on 1300 730 075.  Alternatively you can download the application form, fill it in and send to BirdLife Australia (the address is on the form).  Please provide an email address when you join, as all our communication with our members is via email; if you do not have an email address, you will need to check this website regularly to keep informed of our activities.  You do not need to be a member of BirdLife Australia to become a BirdLife Photography member.

Please be aware that when you join BirdLife Photography, by paying your subscription to BirdLife Australia, you will not have immediate log-in access to this website.  Details of new members are provided to our Membership Coordinator by BirdLife Australia on a regular basis, but not immediately.  When they receive those details, they will set up your website account and send your log-in details, and other important information, in a welcome email.  This usually happens within a few days.

Please note that joining BirdLife Photography does not provide membership of any of BirdLife Australia's Branch Photography Groups.  If you wish to join them also, to participate in local activities in your area, please contact them directly.  You can find details of those groups on the BirdLife Australia Groups page.
