CommentCame across a pair of Grey Falcons on track as we traveled south west towards Cameron Corner. The pair were a larger female and smaller male. The female had a small bird it had killed. As we approached both bird flew to a dead tree about 200m off the track where the female continued feeding. We drove cross country stopping frequently to take photos. Unfortunately the sun was behind the birds and getting around the back would have most likely resulted in the birds leaving the tree. The male left during our stop/start crawl forward process however the female, intent on consuming its meal, stayed. The photo submitted was taken from the closest point we achieved however this was still over 50 metres away.
