CommentOne of the highlights of climbing to the summit of Phillip Island was finding pairs of Black-winged Petrels circling the breeding ground in spectacular courtship displays, and coming in to land at nest sites. This image shows the key ID points for this species.
EquipmentCanon R3 + 400 mm f/4 DO II + 1.4x III extender, hand-held.
Manual(f/7.1, 1/8000 sec, ISO 1000).
Processed using DPP4 and PSE 2021 with Neat Image v. 9 plug-in.
