CommentThe Rufous Bristlebird is restricted to the coast of western Victoria through to the mouth of the Murray River. It is quirky, inquisitive but very shy. This bird briefly popped up to inspect its surrounds. I particularly like the fact that it is perched - they are most commonly observed running through the shrub.
EquipmentNikon D850; Nikon AF-S 500mm f/5.6 PF ED Primary Lens.
f/10, 1/500, ISI 7200. Hand held. Cropping and some noise reduction via Lightroom and Topaz Noise AI.
