CommentSpring has arrived and the Friarbirds have taken possession of the Grevilleas in my garden.Late one afternoon I stood underneath a pine tree ( using it as a partial hide ) and took a few images as they bounded around the tree,stopping occasionally to feed. This is a juvenile bird as it has a yellow chin,throat and shoulder patch.
EquipmentCanon EOS R5 ,Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM , Ext EF 2x III
1/400sec @ f/7.1 ISO 3200 Evaluative Metering.Tripod. Focal Length 600mm. Processed in DPP4 and transferred to Photoshop .In Photoshop I removed a dead stalk in the centre of the image as it was very distracting. I used Topaz De Noise AI to reduce the noise as at ISO 3200 the image had quite a bit of noise in the darker parts of the image.
