CommentThis was a surprise! Driving through Gympie along the Bruce Highway, when I saw Two Lapwings of the "Spurwing Novaehollandiae race" with 4 chicks. They were occupying a patch of grass between the Highway and a small service road, in front of an Industrial lot. They were completely ignoring all the thousands of vehicles travelling along the highway.
EquipmentNikon D7500 - Nikon 200 - 500mm Lens - ISO1000 (auto iso) f 7.1 - spot focus (3d) and spot exposure. Shutter speed will vary.
