CommentAfter a very early morning start to watch the sunrise over Mamukala Wetlands we walk through the bush and something caught my eye and it was a tiny Double-barred Finch clinging to the stem of some tall reedy grasses. I deliberately did not crop the image too much as I wanted to retain some of the background as I really liked the soft golden light and the native plants in the foreground being in focus and then the plants in the background being softly blurred. I also like the way the Finch has one eye on me!
