CommentThis is one of my favourite images of the Red-Necked Avocet. It's such a tranquil scene. It was taken on a field trip back in February. It was the most stunningly calm morning with amazing light, and as I lay in the shallows I became surrounded by hundreds of Avocets as they were sweeping along the shoreline. There was a light sea fog on the horizon that blended with the water and created this amazing, soft blue-grey background! Magic.
EquipmentCanon EOS 5D MKIII, Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Sports, F/6.3, 1/3200, ISO 800 and post-processed using DPP4 & PS.
