CommentRed-tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banks naso), female feeding in my neighbour's Cape Lilac. A flock of up to ten birds have been arriving in local trees to feed on this introduced plant species. The tragedy of clearing and logging. I recommend interested birders read the paper "The Distribution, status movements and diet of the Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoo in the South-West with emphasis on the Greater Perth Region, Western Australia". published by Johnstone et.al The Western Australian Naturalist Vol 30, Number 4, 28 February 2017.
EquipmentPentax K-3 with Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 APO DG HSM lens, ISO 400 @ 250mm @ f/5.6 @ 1/320, hand held. Basic processing in Pentax DCU5 and finished in PSE12.
