CommentImage taken under supervision of Norfolk Is Nat Pk approved guide, on a commercial tour of Phillip Is - at present the only way visitors can get to Phillip Is.
It was early in the season and this was one of only two of this species seen. The bird shows the pink flush to the feathers seen in the breeding season. The bird was under a large bush making lighting conditions very difficult for photography - flash not allowed.
