CommentA Galah/Corella hybrid (most likely LIttle Corella by morphology of the upper mandible) observed in a Galah (Cacatua roseicapilla) flock at Lake Carine. The light colour, large periophthalmic ring and random white wing and tail feathers were a rather notable contrast to the other Galahs in the flock. (Moderators Note - GRCam: the hybrid has a dark eye but whether this indicates a male as in Galah is unknown as both sexes of the Little Corella have dark eyes. Hybrids between the Galah and Little Corella have been recorded in captivity -Sindel & Lynn and Foreshaw has recorded this hybrid in the wild).
