CommentPhotographing a Yellow-throated Scrubwren is a frustrating task as they are very active and frequent the rainforest floor. I find I need to use a flash; either on or off camera. The bird found in Paluma area is of the cairnsi race.
EquipmentCanon 550D - Canon 300mm f4 lens - 580EX flash (off camera), tripod and taken from a hide.
LocationPaluma - Mount Spec (north of Townsville), Queensland
