| Comment | This bird is a male transitioning to adult plumage. Note the yellow starting to show in the bill. It had been pursued out into the open by Noisy Miners and landed just in front of me right out in the open. It kept perfectly still and is squatting in the grass, not standing, presumably to reduce its profile. It eventually flew off, again being harassed by Noisy Miners before escaping in nearby gardens. | ||||||||||||||||||
