| Comment | This is a very tricky one indeed as the tail is cocked sideways and looks too short and the bird is strongly backlit, making it appear darker than it really is. A Fairy-wren, but where do you start? The Bluebush is a favourite of White-winged Fairy-wren, but this is not enough to be certain as other species can occur in this habitat. The suggestion of blue-grey in the wing is a clue and the general paleness of the bird, lacking a contrast around the eye are pointers. | ||||||||||||||||||
