CommentThe complementary pose of this pair appealed to me. In order to ensure both birds were sufficiently in focus I utilised a smaller aperture than I usually would in early morning low light conditions. Consequently a high ISO, and relatively slow shutter speed was needed. Raw image processed in Lightroom including cropping, spot removal, adjustments to exposure (-0.20), contrast (+9), highlights (+14), whites (+22), sharpening (40) and noise reduction (15)
EquipmentCanon EOS 90D, EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM at 400mm, 1/640 sec, f/7.1, ISO 6400. image stabiliser employed, handheld.
