CommentBrolgas in the clouds…a pair of our locally rare and vulnerable Victorian Brolgas, seen in the sky above Werribee Treatment Plant. The photo is as much about the beauty of the clouds as of the birds themselves. The Brolgas, with their wide glider-like wings, each with five extended “fingers”, are framed by the cumulus billows of white and grey, and seem to express all that is free-spirited and uplifting in the life of these now threatened creatures.
