CommentThis image was taken at the Cairns Botanic Gardens where this bird made several trips from distant trees and back to a particular place where it was farming for suitable nesting material. It was in an area that was quite shaded and it was a waiting game before it stood in a small patch of sunshine which shows its colours to better effect.
