CommentOnly room for one Pelican on this seat! An intermittent slight ripple on the water required some patience to arrive at a reasonable reflection together with a tilt of the bill and a glance towards me, worth the wait to balance the composition I think.
EquipmentCanon EOS 7D II EF 100-400 L IS II + 1.4x III TC, at 560mm, centre spot servo AF, handheld Manual exposure, 1/1600 sec, f/9, ISO 400 Processing: Lightroom Classic CC2020 for RAW conversion and initial adjustments, then Photoshop CC2020 where moderate noise reduction was applied with Neat Image. Size reduction to web submission dimensions was followed by final sharpening using Smart Sharpen.
