CommentThis is a re-post of an earlier image that has undergone post processing more in line with Ian Wilson’s notes. Careful placement of little treasures wasn't the only concern this bird had to consider - he also apparently had to be selective with what he collected. A few times he brought in aluminium can ring tops and carefully arranged them - but as soon as he left to hunt for more treasures a female would come in and throw the ring tops out.
