CommentWe watched as a Brolga family danced together. Nor likely their famed mating dance routine since it is no longer breeding season and they have their offspring already but maybe just a dance of joy, or to teach their youngster some of the moves, as, indeed, appeared to happen earlier when all three jumped up in the air together. In this case, the adult female, with a less pronounced dewlap, is the one in the air, with the adult male and juvenile on the ground. The juvenile has not yet acquired the rose crown of an immature bird.
