CommentWith the tide rising it's a good time to seek out some waders as they are usually pretty sedentary on higher tides, so I found a nice small sandbar packed with at least twenty species or more and found a good spot to lie down far enough away not to disturb them, but still close enough to have them filling a medium portion of the frame and get their reflection in as well. I was also using a polariser which cuts glare and reflections to give you nice true colours and very little to do in post with optimal exposure. I generated a 16 bit tiff out of DXO PL6 after applying global adjustments to noise and sharpening, then just made minor adjustments to highlights, shadows and vibrance. Resized in PS
