CommentIt has been a great privilege over the summer to observe various migratory water birds feeding at the mouth of the Shoalhaven River. The Eastern Curlew has been a favourite but very shy and difficult to get close to without disturbing. This shout was captured when the tide was higher and the birds more settled. I love the effect of the characteristic long bill opened wide.
