| Comment | The wind came to my assistance, lifting the breeding plumes of the egret as it perched, waiting to be courted. I have chosen this image to submit as it has contrast and texture, both in the plumage and the foliage, and the egret's head is nicely framed by the plumes, with the focus being the highlight in the eye. | ||||||||||||||||||
