| Comment | “Out of the darkness, into the light.” I have given this image a title, not something that I usually do ,but the title emphasises my intention to describe the way the light falls on the bird as it emerges from the shadows. The composition is clean and simplistic with no distractions drawing your attention away from the subject .The image is sharp and has good eye contact with the bird. | ||||||||||||||||||

Image noise was reduced using Lightroom Classic’s De Noise AI . A tiff was transferred to Photoshop where the subject was selected and highlights and shadows adjusted. The file was downsized, sharpened using Smart Sharpen and saved a a jpg. | ||||||||||||||||||
