| Comment | I have chosen this photo to enter as a monochromatic image in order to highlight the features of the bird’s beak/bill. The rough texture, shape and lines of the spoonbill’s bill become very obvious and form a sharp contrast with the softer texture of the white plumage. I think the monochromatic rendering of the image features this bird in a way that truly makes you think for a moment about its name and how it might gain its food. | ||||||||||||||||||
