| Comment | Following a zoom presentation last year I was motivated to put into practice the advice given. This was the resulting image. By lying prone on the rock platform, the oyster catcher came quite close and the shooting angle was unlike any I had obtain before. The sun had just tipped the horizon giving a pleasing light to the usually matt plumage and an almost back lighting effect. The eye contact I find quite compelling when looking at the bird. The slight reflection of the beak and legs adds a pleasing effect of a little more red to the image. | ||||||||||||||||||
