| Comment | Few birds are more devoted to their young than Great Crested Grebes. The adoring gaze of these parents towards their little chick creates a strong sense of the affection between the family. Taken early in the morning, the dappled light highlighted the subjects perfectly as they came together in this heartwarming composition, the little one obviously begging to be fed. | ||||||||||||||||||
