| Comment | It was impossible to miss this Scarlet Robin with its bold plumage in such contrast to the foliage and soft light. This male was using the perch to spot insects on the ground, before dropping down to take them, and then returning. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Equipment | Equipment: Nikon Z8, Nikkor Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Settings: 600mm, f/6.3, 1/800s, ISO-500 Workflow: Processed in Lightroom and sent to Photoshop for further edits, downsize, sharpen and export. Field notes: I preferred to stand back and keep the bird small in the frame to contrast it against the surroundings. Processing notes: The image has been warmed a little. | ||||||||||||||||||
