| Comment | These two Australian Wood Ducks spent about ten minutes preening. I was able to capture the female in an attractive wing position complimented by the perch. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Equipment | Equipment: Nikon Z8, Nikkor Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Settings: 600mm, f/6.3, 1/800s, ISO-640 Workflow: Processed in Lightroom and sent to Photoshop for further edits, downsize, sharpen and export. Field notes: The image was captured under a very thin overcast just after midday, resulting in quite harsh light and reflections. I needed to under-expose in-camera to keep as much (of already limited) detail in the highlights as possible. Processing notes: White balance adjustment was the biggest adjustment needed during post-processing. | ||||||||||||||||||
