CommentThis little maleOrange Chat was one of a pair foraging for grubs in the samfire around Lake Wooleen. This was taken on a bird photography course run by Shelley Pearson at Wooleen Stataion in the midwest of WA. This shot was the product of a couple of patient hours waiting for the birds to get close enough for a shot. A lifer bird and a memorable experience, made all the more memorable by hitting a roo on the road on the way home and writing off my car.
