CommentSometimes I get distracted while waiting for my target species. It really wasn’t a good day for photography ( well that’s not quite right…every day is a good day when spending time at you favourite spot ,hoping to get some good images) . Well it was very windy and this young Magpie Lark was in a tree not far from where I was sitting ,hanging on and trying to balance in the strong wind. So of course the Magpie Lark became the species of the day. I really liked this image as it shows off the birds beautiful wings.

1/8000 sec @ f/6.3 ISO 2500 Tripod
Raw file rendered in DPP4 and transferred to Photoshop to reduce noise using Topaz De Noise AI plug in, downsize and sharpen before saving.
