CommentI regularly monitor our local beaches for beach-nesting birds and often see our summer resident population of Ruddy Turnstones. This day in their midst was a very rare and unusual visitor for our region. Amazingly I was able to get extremely close because the RT's are quite used to human encounters and continued to feed as normal.
