CommentAnother more traditional shot of our 'uncommon' migrant visitor this season. Recent sightings suggest there may in fact be two birds in the ACT right now. Whilst a standard shot I did enjoy getting down at eye level to capture the background water bokeh which has a nice colour match to the bird. And the green grass foreground provides a nice contrast and texture as well. Bird is well posed with good head angle and sharp eye with catch light. Good feather detail was achieved. At a fairly high ISO this is a good test of DXOPureRaw which I feel has done a great job.
