CommentOlder adult male, Antipodean Albatross ssp gibsoni. Note residual dark plumage on cap and regular vermiculations across the back and blotchy white patches on upper wing.
EquipmentCanon 1DxII + 300 mm f/2.8 II + 2x III extender, hand-held.
Manual, spot metering, AI Servo AF with 4-pt expansion, f/6.3, 1/2000 sec, ISO 1600.
Processed with DPP4 and PSE14 with neat Image plug-in.
