CommentAn Australian Pelican about to lift off showing the sheer scale of his wings. I was walking along the beach in Kingscliff where there was one lone pelican at the edge of the surf. I stopped to watch him when he decided to take off. I like that he is in focus and that the wing tips are softly blurred giving a sense of motion
