CommentThe new Banksia Garden at the Australian National Botanic Gardens is providing fabulous opportunities to capture really great shots of nectar feeders like this by simply sitting and waiting for them to appear. It then allows me to concentrate on the photographic techniques rather than having to chase birds all over the place. I now have many great shots of this little guy but I enjoyed this pose between two Banksia menziesii blooms with a good attitude. I suspect because there is no overhead tree covering they are constantly looking out fot predators such as raptors.
