CommentAnother winter visitor. White-throated Honeyeaters spend most of their time foraging among the outer leaves of Gum Trees, in our case Blue Gums. From what I have seen, at this time of year they are eating sap sucking insects on the leaves, and the sharp beak most likely helps with this task....This bird has just bathed, and is preening. - hand held.
EquipmentNikon D7500 - Nikon 200 - 500mm Lens - ISO1000 (auto iso) f 7.1 - spot focus (3d) and spot exposure. Shutter speed will vary.
