CommentThis bird took a momentary break from foraging busily with a small flock amongst the rocks and seaweed left by the receding tide. The breeding plumage suggests that the bird is almost ready to migrate to its Siberian breeding grounds. Water breaking on the beach provides a soft and uncluttered background
EquipmentCanon EOS 90D + 600mm f/4 III, monopod. Manual, spot metering, f/7.1, 1/ 800 sec, ISO 250. Processed with DPP4 & Photoshop Elements 15 with Neat Image 8.3.
