CommentAdult male - Note brighter yellow legs compared to paler yellow legs of immature male, lack of gape and more pronounced 'scalloping' on breast
EquipmentCanon EOS R5, Canon EF 500mm f4L IS II USM Lens, Ground-pod at 500mm, exposed at 1/500 secs, f/4.5on ISO 10000. Manual under exposing by 1 stop so as to soften the light from the flashlight. Processed using DPP4 & Lightroom with Topaz De-Noise plug-in for noise reduction. No flash used (handheld flashlight) to minimise background illumination and disturbance to the bird.
