CommentThis black swan took a break from incubating their eggs and walked to the foot path looking for food from people walk past and this seemed like a familiar behaviour to those who live nearby. We were able to watch these pair of swans from time to time till Cygnets appeared. This swan looked definitely heavier and larger than its mate so my belief is this is a male swan.I also noticed that the shape of its upper part of the beak is squarish than pointy anterior to the eyes ex tending a bit towards middle. Not sure whether this is a feature of a male or not.
