CommentSatin Bowerbirds were abundant and vocal at the campground, and males were busily advertising their attributes. This one was photographed in a swampy area in the shade and fortunately stayed still long enough for me to obtain a good photo with a slow shutter speed. This park had been extensively burnt during last year's bushfires, and it was good to see and hear an abundance of birdlife in the area.

Exposure: 1/80; F8; ISO 800; Focal Length 250mm
The image was processed in Photoshop Elements by selecting the bird and stick, and enhancing lighting and sharpness. The background was then enhanced by lightening shadows and darkening highlights.
