CommentWhilst trying to photograph Pratincoles we stumbled across 16 of these. Totally unexpected but another hghlight of our trip. Due to the very open nature of the country they were very diffcult to approach so we decided we would let them be and just enjoy the sighting. A little bit of luck eventually came our way, whilst checking stock for my mate we had stopped and were photographing Pratincoles when these birds decided to join them. The down side was the heat haze making photography very difficult, but I managed to get a few keepers over about an hour. Processed originally in Topaz Denoise then cropped for composition in Lightroom, applying some slight colour adjustments then exported to Photoshop for selective sharpen.
