CommentThe Musk Lorikeets are common around town and I have taken plenty of shots of them. But they are very difficult to photograph when feeding because they are very busy, staying in the foliage and only popping out briefly to access the blossoms. So I was very happy with this shot. The bird is at eye level and stayed still just long enough to prove a very clear image.
EquipmentCanon EOS 5D Mk IV, EF400mm f/4 DO IS USM +1.4x III
SpeedLite 580 EX II.
Hand held.
1/200th sec at f/8 , ISO 400.
Processed with DPP4, PSE14 with Neat Image v8 plugin.
