Red-necked Stint

Red-necked Stint (Image ID 38298)
Resolution1800x1013
ID38298
CommentThe red-necked Stints had just finished feeding and were starting their preening routine when one stopped, looked straight into the lens for about one second, enough time to get one shot in. As I was shooting from bean bag height I was virtually level with the bird..."eye to eye" so to speak which made for a appealing image.
