Crimson Chat

Crimson Chat (Image ID 38253)
CommentOver a week or so a couple of friends and I had been watching a pair of Crimson Chats hunting insects and bringing them back to the nest to feed their three newly hatched chicks. It was quite incredible to see the stunning array of bugs they'd collect, often returning with several in the beak at once. It was also inspiring to see this species thriving out here in time of terrible drought.
