| Comment | Morning light can make all the difference in capturing birds at their most beautiful. Here is a Welcome Swallow perching on a reed at Lake Borrie. The early morning sun accentuates its rufous chin and forehead, blue-black glossy shoulders, and creamy white underparts. There is a sparkle in its eye. With all the giant mosquitoes swarming over the lake, it can look forward to much feasting in the coming hours. | ||||||||||||||||||
