CommentA lifer for me and first time seeing this beautiful bird. I didn't really want the tail chopped off but I grabbed the best shot I could get as it didn't last long! I enjoyed the frame within a frame provided by the branches and the light background was OK in this situation. Good eye contact and good feather detail was obtained.
