CommentTime for another fillet of fish. This juvenile Greeter Crested Tern is loudly making its views known in a large assembly of these terns on some rocks close to Kirk Point. The parents are presumably on the way with what is wanted, although I notice some older siblings also assisting with feeding. The juvenile is banded, so may well be part of an ongoing research project to monitor this species. The yellow beak distinguishes it as a Greater rather than Lesser Crested Tern.
