CommentIt was an unexpected joy to see a small flock of Chestnut-rumped Heathwrens in Chiltern today. It is the first time I have encountered this species. The buff supercilium and underparts (as opposed to being white) of this bird indicate it is a female.
EquipmentCanon 7D Mark II with Canon EF 600mm f4/L USM non IS lens at 600mm, 1/200 sec, f6.3, ISO 400 on tripod.
